Jeepers, man is this ever silly. I mean, it's one thing to say it'd be nice if women were ordained as priests, and then it's another to take a trip down a river and pretend that it's international waters, and that because of that that you're, like, ordained or something..
I mean really, what's the reasoning here? Let's say I go to international waters.. can I self-declare that I've become an American citizen now, and is the US going to recognize that?
Stupid.. just.. stupid..

Everyone who's Catholic here knows that they are much more apt to allow married priests as a regular thing first-- as there are already some floating around due to conversions from ordained ministers from other faiths.

As for the concept of women priests itself, I'm kind of ambivalent to the whole thing.. possibly because my faith's a little rocky. Let the church people fight it out. What concerns me more is the alternate reading of the gospels advocated by books like Snow Crash. (Minus the obvious "taking it a step too far" stuff like nam-shubs, etc. I'm talking more about the hijacking of the gospel on the 30th day stuff..)
